The aim was to build a brand for a field that had never been branded properly. Beaver and wetland management sits at the intersection of science, land stewardship, and conservation — but most operators in this space look like they've never thought about how they present themselves. We set out to change that. The brief was clear: 50% premium, 50% country. The Filson of beaver and wetland science.

The rebrand positioned You Betula as the definitive authority in non-lethal beaver management across Canada — a brand that commands the respect of property investors and land owners while staying rooted in the natural world it serves. The identity achieved something rare in this niche: it feels both scientifically credible and genuinely human. A brand clients trust before they make the call.
Project Overview & Development
We delivered a full brand identity system — logo suite, beaver mark, colour palette, typography, brand guidelines, apparel mockups, business cards, and a challenge coin that became the most talked-about brand touchpoint in the project. The witty-but-serious tone carried through every deliverable, capturing the personality of a team that takes their craft seriously without taking themselves too seriously. Every decision was rooted in the world You Betula operates in — leather, birch bark, plaid, and the quiet permanence of Canadian wilderness.
